I went on a Taoist walk recently. Let me just say, that there was this overarching sensation of peace. I had not ever walked this trail, and it was simply impressive. The crip, scrunch of the footsteps on the leaves and dirt, the occasional chirp of a bird. But one thing was off; The loud hum of machinery coming from the school. The feeling of peace was lost here and there, as the sound of man-made tools broke through the silence and peace. But the sound couldn’t stop the smell of the succulent flowers, or of the decaying autumn leaves. The ironic thing was, I could only think of how to use the natural resources from the path to build in and around the path. The cozy log cabins with birds fluttering around. It was odd. It felt odd, my thoughts. But the sense of Daoism that seeped through the walk would not go overlooked.
How I will grow in 1811
I will learn World Civ stuff and make me smart. Woah, isn’t that cool? It sure is! Woah! I hope that this will be a fun thing that will hope me grow as a person.
